Micom MICM Handicap Door Opener Montreal – Heavy-Duty Automatic Door Operator

Micom MICM Handicap Door Opener Montreal – Heavy-Duty Automatic Door Solution
♿ Micom MICM Handicap Door Opener – Built for Demanding Commercial Applications
Looking for a reliable, heavy-duty automatic handicap door opener for a commercial building, restaurant, office, apartment building, or public entrance?
The Micom MICM is a professional-grade automatic door operator designed for demanding applications where reliability, adjustability, and closing power matter.
At Serrurier Shay Locksmith, we install the heavy-duty version for maximum durability and performance.
🔐 Why We Recommend the Micom MICM
The MICM offers a wide range of adjustments that allow us to properly configure the door according to the installation and environment:
- 💪 Heavy-duty motor for demanding commercial applications
- 🚪 Latching power adjustment for reliable door closing
- ⚡ Adjustable opening and closing speed
- 🛑 Adjustable backcheck force
- 🔒 Force-close option
- 💨 Additional motor capacity available for high-wind areas
- 🌬️ Excellent option for locations affected by positive or negative air pressure
- 🍽️ Particularly suitable for restaurants, where pressure differences can make automatic doors difficult to close properly
- ♿ Designed for accessible / handicap entrances
- 🔧 Easy to service and adjust
- 📦 Available in medium-duty and heavy-duty versions
- ⭐ We install the heavy-duty version for our commercial installations whenever applicable
🍽️ Great Choice for Restaurants
Restaurants can present a special challenge for automatic doors because of positive and negative air pressure.
If the door is constantly fighting air pressure, a standard operator may have difficulty closing and latching the door properly.
The MICM gives the installer multiple adjustment options, including latching power, closing speed, backcheck and closing force, helping us configure the operator to work correctly with the existing door conditions.
For particularly demanding or high-wind locations, a larger motor option may be available depending on the application.
📐 Before We Start – Pictures Are Required
Before scheduling the installation, please send us clear pictures of the door.
We need to evaluate:
- The exterior of the door
- The interior of the door
- The top portion of the door and frame
- The hinges or pivots
- The existing door closer/operator, if applicable
- The surrounding area above the door
📏 Important Installation Requirement
You must have approximately 10 inches of available space above the door on the interior side for the handicap door operator and installation.
The operator itself is approximately 39 inches wide, and it is designed to accommodate a 36-inch door.
Space requirements can vary depending on the exact door, frame, mounting conditions, and configuration, so pictures must be provided before we confirm the installation.
🔧 Professional Installation
Installing an automatic handicap door operator is not simply a matter of mounting the unit.
The door must be properly evaluated and adjusted so that:
- The door opens correctly
- The door closes properly
- The latch engages reliably
- Opening and closing speeds are appropriate
- Backcheck is properly adjusted
- Closing force is suitable for the application
- Air pressure and wind conditions are taken into consideration
- The installation complies with the requirements applicable to the specific location
Our goal is to install the operator correctly and configure it according to the actual conditions of your door.
